Big Garden Bird Watch
Join us for an RSPB take over of the Castlefield Viaduct for the Big Garden Bird Watch.

Have an opportunity to take part in the garden bird watch, discover how to encourage to birds and wildlife in your area, and get all the information you need to take part in the birdwatch in your own garden, balcony or window!
Throughout the weekend there will be creative activities, talks on citizen science and workshops to make a bird feeder to take home with you.
The weekend long event will be run by volunteers from the RSPB, National Trust and University of Manchester Student Ambassadors.

Children are very welcome and there are activities for them.
- What to bring and wear
This event takes place in January so warm layers are recommended.
- Accessibility
Castlefield Viaduct is fully accessible for wheelchair users with a ramp into the event space and lift access to the entrance via the Roman Gardens or Deansgate Castlefield Metrolink Stop.
