This October half term, notice, enjoy and experience the beauty of autumn with the following family friendly activities.

- Hedgehog hibernation- a home for Prickles. Every day 10-4pm, park & gardens ticket.

Prickles the Hedgehog is a little lost, can you help them find their nest in time for winter? Follow this family trail through the park and gardens and collect a sticker prize for the garden kiosk.

- Prickles the Hedgehog's autumnal Book Nook.

Self-led, ever day 10-4pm, park & gardens ticket. Curl up in the Orangery Book Nook with one of Prickles' favourite books. Featuring autumnal decorations and new seasonal books.

- ‘Spooky Speechly’ hide & seek in the House.

Embellishment to house trail, everyday 12-4pm, House ticket.

Speechly the Pineapple has been playing in the fancy dress box. Can you spot him playing hide and seek in fun and festive costumes?

- Dress up in the Laundry.

Self-led, everyday 12-4pm, House ticket.

Dress up in historically inspired costumes (servant or mouse) in the Laundry. We invite families to wear their costumes through the House and return them on the way out.

Accessibility

The Hedgehog trail takes place on flat level pathways and is on the accessible route. Speechly's trail (From Here to There) takes place inside the House. One trail point is upstairs, the rest are on the ground floor. Dogs on leads welcome in the gardens after noon. Service dogs only in the House. All activities are ideal for families with children under 10 years old.
