Summer of Play: Water Wonders Trail
We've teamed up with the Riverlands Project Team for a Summer of Play trail with a water twist! Join us at Hare Hill to discover more about the wonder that is water.

'Where does it come from, where does it go, explore the journey of H2O!' Go with the flow and follow the self-led trail though the gardens at Hare Hill. People and nature need water to survive, so how can we be guardians of the water and look after and protect it? Find out more on a wander to ponder about the wonders of water!

Most activities suitable for children ages 3+
- Meeting point
Self-led trail starts near the Welcome Building in the main car park.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress for the weather on the day and be prepared for all weather conditions. Sturdy footwear is advisable when exploring the gardens.
- Accessibility
Blue Badge parking. Accessible toilet. Step-free route around garden with level paths. Manual wheelchair and powered mobility Tramper vehicle available to borrow.
- Other
Self-led trail with different activity points around the Wooded and Walled Gardens of Hare Hill. Free trail but normal admission charges apply to help support our conservation work in the gardens and improving the water habitats across the land in our care for nature and for people. No need to book. There is no cafe/tearoom at Hare Hill but picnics are welcome. Please take all litter home with you.

Join us at Hare Hill this spring and have an Easter adventure in nature. Our Easter trail runs Wed - Sun and Easter Monday, from Saturday 5 April - Monday 21 April, 10.30am - 4.30pm and booking is not required.

Take a wander on the wild side this May half term with a self-led spotter activity through the secret gardens at Hare Hill.
