Autumn woodland walks
Join us for a woodland wander enjoying the autumnal colours at Quarry Bank
- Booking essential
Led by the local legend that is Fungal Punk Dave, this walk is an excellent chance to discover the fungi here at Quarry Bank.
The walk will take in the woodlands that cling to the valley sides of the River Bollin, where fungi abound. The mature trees and old soils will provide you with a chance to see a good number of fungi.
Dave will be on-hand to explain why fungi are an essential part of the world we live in, how to identify different species, and why fungi need to be looked after rather than foraged.
National Trust admission charges do not apply. Tickets are non-transferable.
