Marina Rule art exhibition
Be the first to see paintings by emerging local artist Marina Rule, many of which have been produced specially for this exhibition.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Marina’s paintings are a colourful celebration of the local scenery and her deep emotional connection to Cornwall, where she was born, lives and has family roots that stretch back generations. A keen walker, the scenes are first captured on her camera before being interpreted in paint, and can sometimes include earth pigments, gravel and foliage collected in situ. Short, lively descriptions accompany each artwork, giving a real sense of what inspired the piece and the circumstances behind its creation.
The paintings are available to purchase, alongside prints and greetings cards, with 20% of all sales going towards the work of the National Trust in this area.
This exhibition will run until 29 November 2024.
