Kate Cartwright explores the theme of history, family and home through her art and use of raw materials.
Wanting to record Cornwall in a visceral and visual way, Kate taps into the natural elements, fuelled by her emotive responses to different environments and their stories and aims to solidify the connection between place and being.
Her work spans the three floors of Michell’s Engine House with some pieces inspired by elements of this historic building.
