Bat Walk at Godolphin

Take a walk with our Godolphin Ranger to meet the bats that call this special place home.

  • Booking essential
  • Admission applies

Experience the garden at dusk and discover the nocturnal world of bats at Godolphin. As night falls, we’ll take a gentle walk through the grounds, using bat detectors to listen to their calls and learn more about these fascinating creatures.

Godolphin is home to a variety of bat species, including Greater Horseshoe, long-eared, and pipistrelle bats. They roost in some of the estate’s historic buildings and feed on insects attracted to our chemical-free gardens — a haven for wildlife.

Meeting point: Welcome Hut at 7.30pm Approximate finish time: 10pm

Bat detectors are provided for this walk.

Assistance dogs only at this event.
