A tidal beach for the adventurous, famous for its white sand, turquoise sea and rock stacks. Extremely busy with limited parking throughout July, August & September.

Important notice

There is no lifeguard on duty at Kynance. Be aware of strong currents and the risks of getting cut off by the incoming tide.

Visiting Kynance Cove with your dog 

Dogs can enjoy the famous sandy beach at Kynance Cove from September to June, as well as local heathland and cliff top footpaths all year round.

Flying drones at our places 

All aerial activity above our sites is prohibited unless specific permission is granted, according to an existing byelaw.

Please remember to scan your membership card at the pay and display machine when you park - every time you do £3.68 goes towards looking after Kynance.

Social walks at Kynance 

Everyone is welcome to join us on a social walk at Kynance, taking in the surrounding countryside and dramatic coastline throughout September, October & November. The walks are approximately 3-4 miles and led by volunteer walk leaders, offering the opportunity for fresh air and time in nature. Everyone is welcome regardless of walking experience.
