We bring the copper dressing floors of Levant Mine to life to demonstrate the gruelling role women and children had to play in turning rocks to riches.
Hear stories of Bal maidens who worked at Levant and understand more about their social and economic standing in society.
This tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and is a great addition to the normal site tour if you would like to extend your visit. It is great for families with many interactive elements throughout.
This tour does not include seeing the beam engine or going underground into the man engine tunnel. Bookings for other tours at Levant Mine will need to be made separately.
