Helston to the Stables Café accessible woodland trail

This multi-use level and well-surfaced path can be used by walkers, runners, horse riders, and users of mobility scooters, wheelchairs, pushchairs and bicycles. Wind your way through the Penrose woodland, taking in views of Loe Pool, from Helston's free Fairground car park, to the National Trust's, Stables Cafe. Where you can savour a scone, soup or sandwich while browsing the Secondhand bookshop.

Start point

Helston Fairground car park, postcode TR13 8WN.

Step 1

Exit the car park of the side of the main road and turn left. Follow the pavement and enter Penrose estate through the open entrance next to a large gate. Follow the path.

Step 2

When you come to the 'T' junction, do not go straight ahead, follow the sign to the Stables Cafe by turning left.

Step 3

You have arrived. To return, follow the same path you took to get here.
