  • The Winter Lights route is accessible to pushchairs/wheelchairs.

What will there be to see and do?

Community is at the heart of our Lights festival. In collaboration with Tough Dough CLC, withy and tissue paper lanterns are made by local schools, community groups and artists. Stroll through the walled gardens and orchard lit by these creative lanterns, hundreds of fairy lights and feature lighting provided by students on the BA(Hons) Technical Theatre Arts course at Falmouth University, led by tutor Paul Joines.

Make a Christmas wish by hanging a bauble on the wishing tree or gather your family and friends there for a picture. Pop into the bookshop for some winter reading, where children can make a Christmas craft.

Eating and shopping

From an outdoor stand, CAST café will be serving a selection of hot and cold food and drink (see details above under Planning your visit) with many locally sourced ingredients and will include gluten free and vegetarian options. The shop will be open for gift shopping, plus the second-hand bookshop.
