Trevose Head circular walk
This walking trail circles Trevose Head, beginning in the scenic car park at the far tip of the headland. The route primarily follows the South West Coast Path and passes by Trevose Lighthouse and Padstow Lifeboat Station (neither National Trust). On a clear day you can see along many miles of coast towards the headlands of west Cornwall.
Beware of round hole and cliff edges
Watch out for the huge round hole on the cliffs near the scenic car park and stay away from the edge of the cliff top.

Step 1
Turn left out of car park as you look out to sea and follow the South West Coast Path (SWCP) in the direction of Constantine.
Step 2
You will cross a small stream/ford and when you come to a stone wall turn left and follow the path inland towards the summer car park. You can also park here from Easter to October and do the walk from this point.

When you reach the field car park follow the vehicle track straight ahead and cross the road. Be aware of passing vehicles. Continue through the kissing gate and continue along the footpath until it rejoins the SWCP on the Harlyn side of the headland.

Step 4
When you reach the SWCP at Mother Ivey’s Bay, turn left (so the sea is on your right). Keep following the SWCP until you come to the access road for the lifeboard station.
Step 5
Cross the road and pick up the SWCP again as it continues around the edge of the headland. You'll pass the Trevose Head Lighthouse (owned by Trinity House), before reaching a disused quarry and Dinas Head and are now back at the beginning.
