Over the last 6 months we have been busy working on a series of Accessible Videos for A la Ronde visitors. Working with film maker John Mills, and the team at Complete Communications, five videos in British Sign Language, with captions and voiceover are now ready for launch.

We were inspired by our partnership with the Deaf Academy to broaden access to A la Ronde. We wanted to be able to make sure that anyone who visits, or who watches from home can enjoy these fascinating videos together with friends and family.

We worked with Complete Communications who translated our written English into British Sign Language for the videos and supported with preparing the captions and script for the voiceover.

Once the voiceover was recorded and the sound mix was finalised, the videos are ready for launch. You can access the videos when you come to visit A la Ronde by scanning the QR codes you see around the property with your phone camera. Alternatively, you can watch them right here.

We are delighted to be making the stories of A la Ronde more accessible to more people. Please let us know what you think.
