Booking your visit to Bradley

The manor at Bradley is now closed for 2024, and we look forward to reopening in 2025 for pre-booked guided tours on selected days. If you're planning to book a tour, in this article you’ll find everything you need to know about how to book, where to park and what to expect from your visit.

Bradley Manor is now closed for 2024

Thank you to everyone who booked onto a tour in 2024. The manor house at Bradley is now closed for the winter, and will reopen in Spring 2025.

Booking a guided tour

The tour dates for 2025 will be shared here shortly, but you can read on to find out all the information on the guided yours and how to book.

The tour times on each day will be:

  • 10.45am
  • 12.15pm
  • 1.45pm
  • 3.15pm

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before your tour starts and wait at the meeting point, which will be signposted by the bridge in Bradley estate. Please be aware that tours will last up to one hour and there are a maximum of 6 visitors per tour.

Tickets will be released two weeks before the next tour date. The small group tours will be led by volunteer tour guides through the medieval manor, highlighting the history and people behind this special place. 

Outside, the meadows and woodland paths are open all year from dawn to dusk for visitors to explore.

Changing your booking 

If you set up an account when you made your booking, you will be able to amend the date/time of your booking online up to 24 hours before the date of your visit, or by calling 0344 249 1895

If you are a member and can no longer attend, please let us know by giving us a call on 0344 249 1895

 

Parking

There are a number of car parks nearby within a 10-15 minute walk.

Bakers Park

Please use postcode TQ12 1LP or visit https://bit.ly/NTBakersPark.

Directions from Totnes: Drive past the brown National Trust sign for Bradley Manor (situated on the left) and take the next left hand turn off Totnes Road. Follow the road down to the public parking, adjacent to the playing field.

Directions from Newton Abbot: Head towards Totnes on Wolborough road and turn right before the hill, signposted Bakers Park. 

There are public toilets here, but please note there is a fee and payment is contactless. Please note availability for Bakers Park is limited. Walk through the far end of the car park and follow the path through Bakers Park towards Bradley meadow. (Approx 5 min walk).

Venture Court pay and display car park

Directions from Totnes: Follow Wolborough Road into Newton Abbot. At the traffic light intersection (opposite Asda supermarket), turn left onto Wolborough Street. Take the first left onto Bradley Lane into an industrial area, then take the first left again to the public car park. 

Directions from Newton Abbot: Head towards Totnes on the A381 / Wolborough Street. At the traffic light intersection (Asda supermarket on the right), turn right to continue on Wolborough Street. Take the first left onto Bradley Lane into an industrial area, then take the first left again to the public car park. 

Leave Venture Court car park and follow the river path through the industrial estate towards Bakers Park (approx 15 min walk). 

Accessible parking

There is limited accessible parking available onsite at Bradley for visitors booked on a guided tour. If you require a space, please contact 01803 661907 in advance. 

When you arrive

  • The meeting point for the tour is by the stone bridge in Bradley estate, adjacent to Bakers Park. 
  • Please have your ticket to hand when you arrive. If you are a member with a booking, we'll also ask for you to show your membership card. 
  • Please arrive 15 minutues before the time stated on your booking. This is to allow for a warm welcome to Bradley including health and safety information for your visit.
  • If you’re more than 10 minutes late for your arrival slot then entry will be at the discretion of the property team.

Please note

There are no toilet or café facilities at Bradley.

Please note you need to book tickets for guided tours to Bradley. You can book on the day up until 8am. Guided tour tickets will be available two weeks before the next tour.
