Join us at West Challacombe for a day of crafts and nature exploration while relaxing under a Tipi with books, blankets and cushions.

Fancy relaxing on a hill with a book, coffee and some cake while your children get stuck in with some crafts and nature exploration?
Come and join us at West Challacombe where you can enjoy craft and nature exploration activities, lots of blankets and cushions to fully relax, a selection of second-hand books to borrow or to keep for a small donation. Also, why not head to your local library to take out a book and bring it up! Tea, coffee and cake provided, picnics recommended.
Drop in anytime between 11am-3pm or join us for the whole session. This event is free.
Parking is available at Kiln Car Park (not National Trust, parking charges apply). The site is about a 20min walk from the car park and include steep sections of uneven path, please see below for more details. Basic toilets available on site.

Walk up the SW coast park from Kiln car park (up some steps) and either continue along the coast path (20 minute, partially uphill, approx. 0.6 miles) or cut through West Challacombe (shorter distance covered but steeper uphill climb).
