Relaxed, BSL signed: Songs and Stories with Father Christmas 2024
Fancy a Father Christmas with a difference? Sit down & join Father Christmas and a BSL signer in the stables as he shares a magical story & some festive songs for the whole family to join in.
- Booking essential
Join Father Christmas in a special BSL musical storyland session where singing and signing is highly encouraged. Father Christmas will share some tales of Christmasses gone by as well as taking you through the story of ‘Twas the Night before Christmas, before getting a wrapped Christmas book at the end. A relaxed session means fewer people, it’s wheelchair and ear defender friendly and you can come out of your seat during the show. This is not your average Father Christmas experience! Our Santa can be loud at times (and a little bit cheeky), and he will be playing musical instruments and telling jokes to make everyone laugh. Be advised, the session will start with loud drumming as you enter the room. There will also be a nearby, ramped quiet room available during the session, if you needed to come out of the session at any time. Great for families with children over the age of 6. This is a 45- minute sit down session and best enjoyed by children who are able to engage for this length of time. Songs and Stories sessions must be pre-booked in advance. If you require a familiarisation visit, please contact Saltram. Our Father Christmas is played by Clive PiG - Storyteller and Children's Author. Jase Trotter is our BSL signer. These sessions are perfect for families who require BSL or part of the deaf community. Therefore, if you do not require BSL, please consider booking onto another session so we can reserve these dates for families who require a signer.
