Family volunteering - Bash and burn at Morte Point, Woolacombe
Can you help us create space for nature? Join the rangers at Morte Point for a day of family Volunteering

We will be cutting back gorse and overgrowth of vegetation to create more space for nature and allow rarer species including maritime grassland and wildflowers, to flourish.
Suitable for children aged 6 and upwards (children under 6 are most welcome but the task is quite physical). All tools and training will be provided. We will be working at Morte Point. The event will run from 10-3pm but you are welcome to come and go as you please.

- Suitability
Children welcome, must be accompanied by an adult
- Meeting point
Please park at Mortehoe carpark (charges apply) and walk towards Morte point , keep an eye out for our rangers in red who will be working in the area.
- What to bring and wear
Tools are provided, but please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, sturdy shoes and bring along a water bottle, snacks and packed lunch.
