Family Volunteering - bash and burn Marine Drive
Can you help us create space for nature? Join the rangers at Marine Drive, Woolacombe for a day of family volunteering

Join the ranger team as we cut back gorse and overgrowth of vegetation to create more space for nature and allow rarer species including maritime grassland and wildflowers, to flourish.
The event will run from 10-3pm but you are welcome to come and go as you please. Suitable for children aged 6 and upwards (children under 6 are most welcome but the task is quite physical). All tools and training will be provided.
How to find us: Head to the Porthole Café on marine drive and keep an eye out for rangers in red on the slopes above you.

- What to bring and wear
Tools are provided, but please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, sturdy shoes and bring along a water bottle, snacks and packed lunch.
