Outdoor Cinema - Paddington in Peru (PG)

Join Purbeck Film Festival in the historic ruins of Corfe Castle for a night under the stars. Settle in for the latest epic adventure of our favourite charismatic bear. Perfect Bank Holiday weekend viewing.

  • Booking essential

Paddington 2 was the rare instance of a sequel that surpassed its predecessor, so there were high hopes for this third instalment. They proved fruitful when the box office had the highest opening weekend in the UK since the last Bond movie. Here, Paddington leaves rainy England to help his missing Aunt Lucy in South America, while casually discovering the lost city of El Dorado. The mix of droll humour and eccentric characters with the innocent charisma of the bear - and Ben Whishaw’s perfectly judged voice acting - remains as winning as before, now with the new additions to the cast of Hispanic heart-throb Antonio Banderas and national treasure Olivia Coleman. Perfect Bank Holiday weekend viewing.

Gates open from 8.00 pm to allow you plenty of time to pick a perfect place to sit, grab a drink and enjoy a picnic before the film. Film starts 8.45 pm (depending on levels of light).
