A lovely walk through the wild flower meadows of Stonebarrow on the Golden Cap Estate. Meet our ecology experts to find out about the rare Green-winged orchids.

Join the National Trust Ecology volunteers on a walk though the spectacular wild flower meadows, where we will introduce you to the very special Green-winged orchids which thrive on the Golden Cap Estate.
The walk will be self led (please park at the first car park on Stonebarrow) where you will follow signs down to the meadow where our ecology volunteers will be waiting to meet you.
The walk will be signposted and staff and volunteers will be present to help you.
This is an informal 'drop in'. Please arrive any time from 10.30am but no later than 1pm.

This event is suitable for children and families.
- Meeting point
Please park in the first car park section at Stonebarrow car park.
- What to bring and wear
This is an outdoor event so please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. If it has been wet please ensure footwear is waterproof with good soles as the fields will get slippy and muddy.
- Accessibility
We walk around 15 minutes to reach the orchid fields at Stonebarrow. The track to this area is uneven and the walk back is uphill.

Meet our National Trust Walk Leader outside the Lyme Regis shop on the 2nd Thursday in the month for a free guided walk around Lyme Regis. We will alternate between a short walk one month (1 hour) and a longer walk (2.5 hours) the next month.
