Hardy Monument - circular guided walk

An opportunity to explore the Dorset Landscape as you head from Hardy Monument to the Valley of Stones, Littlebredy and back to the National Trust, Hardy Monument car park.

This is a wonderful 9.5km walk which should take around 3 hours. You will be led by our expert, National Trust volunteer who knows this area very well and will be able to safely guide you along the footpaths.

The walk has some hills, is quite strenuous and the terrain will be a mixture of grass, footpaths and possibly a lot of mud!

Meeting point

Meet at the National Trust, Hardy Monument car park on Saturday 17th May at 10.30am.

What to bring and wear

This is quite a long walk so we recommend a bag with a drink and snacks. Weather appropriate clothing and footwear is essential. You may want to wear layers as you can get warm as you walk.

Please arrive just before 10.30am so we can ensure we depart promptly. The walk will be weather dependent so could be cancelled at short notice. If wind gusts are over 45mph or if we are worried about heavy rain we may have to cancel.
