Nature, running and Parkinson's - Couch to 5K
Exercise can be a great way for those living with Parkinson's to maintain activity levels. This pilot has adapted the popular Couch to 5k programme for those with Parkinson's and their carers.

Working as a tri collaboration Parkinson's UK, Forestry England and National Trust, have joined forces and adapted the universal/NHS run programme Couch to 5k.
Nature, running and Parkinson’s is a pilot programme layered with Parkinson’s, nature connection, conservation and heritage modules to welcome those living with Parkinson’s and their carers.
Delivered by an England Athletics trained leader and based on a specially designed 12 week Couch to 5k programme, whether you walk, jog or run, you'll have nature on your side.
Through the programme we can also offer advice on how running can enable you to keep active whilst living with Parkinson's.
Programme commences on Wednesday 23 April at 11am and will run for 12 weeks.

Please wear active attire and trainers, appropriate for the forecasted weather conditions. Please bring any food and drink needed.

Nordic walking at Kingston Lacy
Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking. When trained in the right technique to use the poles effectively, it increases use of the upper body and enables you to work harder but it feels easier!
