White Mill, Shapwick and the Droves guided walk
Take time to walk and discover the beautiful countryside surrounding the River Stour and the historic village of Shapwick. Distance: 5 miles, time approx. 3.5 hours

Start by the 18th century mill and then walk over rough pastures along this unspoiled stretch of the River Stour with much wildlife to spot. Arrive at the picturesque village of Shapwick and back through a country lane and drove to White Mill. On this walk there will be a guided tour of St Bartholomew's church, which is of Norman 12th century date, with a square tower and restored over the centuries.
