Couch to 5K
Running can offer so many health benefits, help you to meet new people as well as giving you the chance to explore new places.

We are supporting Dorset Council to deliver a Couch to 5K programme at Kingston Lacy.
With the support of a volunteer run leader, this Couch to 5K programme will help you to develop your running fitness over 9 weeks following the Couch to 5K NHS app.
Dates:
* Wednesday 8 January through until Wednesday 5 March. (Please note Wednesday 15 January session will be held at Pamphill)
* Thursday 24 April through until Thursday 19 June
Booking is essential by calling 01425 480811. A course is £10 per person.
All participants must complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) and this can be done very quickly and easily online - https://dorset-self.achieveservice.com/service/Physical-Activity-Readiness-Questionnaire
The Couch to 5K programme is delivered by Dorset Council's Health and Activity team and not the National Trust.

Nordic walking at Kingston Lacy
Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking. When trained in the right technique to use the poles effectively, it increases use of the upper body and enables you to work harder but it feels easier!
