Join our gardeners in the Kitchen Garden for an apple pruning workshop.

Learn a new skill or simply finesse a hobby. Find out the importance of pruning, the techniques and tips, before putting it all into practice in the Kitchen Garden apple orchard.

Afterwards, head to the Vinery to enjoy a hot drink and a biscuit.

All equipment and tools will be provided.

Meeting point

Please park in our main visitor car park and pay for entry or scan membership card at Visitor Reception. Meet our gardeners at the by the Vinery in the Kitchen Garden

What to bring and wear

Please wear suitable clothing for the time for year. Please wear sturdy boots (steel toed where possible) for the activity.

Accessibility

Unfortunately this workshop is not suitable for those with mobility aids. You will be working on grassy paths with uneven ground. This activity involves physical work including lifting and overhead work. If you would like to attend and would like to discuss your access requirements, please call 01202 883402.
