Planning your family visit

  • Baby changing facilites available at Lodge Park on open days. Please see Opening Times for further details.
  • Step access to Lodge Park - there are steps into the building and a staircase to access the upper floor and roof. Buggies can be left at the front of the building.
  • Tracks on the main walks are surfaced, but please be aware there are uneven sections, some steep slopes and the tracks can get muddy in bad weather.

Things to do at Lodge Park

Dressing up

Lodge Park was designed for parties and having fun. There are replica 17th century outfits in the Great Room for you to try on and strike your best pose!

Lawn games

When the weather is lovely, why not relax on the front lawn and have a go at some of the lawn games? Try your hand at giant jenga, skittles or dominos.

Explorer trails

Discover the parties, entertainment and people that made Lodge Park over the years. Follow the trails that will take you around the Grandstand and grounds around the building and see what you can find.

Things to do on the Sherborne Estate

Family trails

Explore the estate along the family trail. Starting from the Ewe Pens car park wander through woods, walk down lanes, and peer into grasses to see what nature you can discover. No matter the time of year there's always something to spot.
