Volunteering for the National Trust is a great way to give back. From meeting new people to getting outside and helping look after our landscape for everyone, forever, there are several open opportunities at Lodge Park to cater to a range of interests, from gardening and grounds maintenance to outdoor guides and events volunteers. Events Volunteers
Events Volunteers help to run an exciting program of events to entice and entertain our visitors at Lodge Park. Helping people to have unique experiences and interact with the history of our place in creative ways.
Gardens and Grounds Maintenance Volunteers
If you love gardens, you’ll know they need lots of care and attention. Our volunteers help with the upkeep, development, and protection of the grounds immediately surrounding Lodge Park - so visitors and wildlife can enjoy them.
House Experience Volunteer
Our House Experience Volunteers add the sparkle to any visit – giving everyone a warm welcome, bringing stories from Lodge Park to life and helping people get the best out of their day.
Outdoor Guide
Outdoor guides will lead a group of visitors around the Bridgeman Landscape at Lodge Park sharing their knowledge of the site. They will be confident talking to groups of people and happy to answer any questions they may have.
Thursday Ranger Volunteer - Sherborne Estate
Rangers love the countryside and being out in the fresh air, so they know what our outdoor visitors need. They’re great at taking care of the wildlife and stunning landscapes of Sherborne Park and water meadows, for ever, for everyone.
