Planning your family visit

  • We have a baby changing facility near Visitor Reception.
  • We welcome breastfeeding everywhere at Snowshill Manor and Garden. If you require a private or quiet space, please speak to a member of staff onsite.
  • Buggies are welcome in the garden but please be aware that there are steps and uneven paths. We cannot accommodate buggies in the manor and you will be directed to park your buggy outside.
  • We have small formal gardens and narrow paths so please do not bring bikes or scooters and toys like balls in with you.

Exploring the collection

Charles Wade's collection has something to intrigue everyone. From historic toys to our collection of samurai armour or theatre masks. Exploring the house and collection brings something fun round every corner. We have handling collection items around the house which can be picked up and looked at.

Dressing up

The costume collection is one of the most important parts of Wade's collection and there are replica 18th century costume items that the whole family can try on. Take a photo and tag us on social media.
