Bat Trail

Come and learn some bite-sized bat facts by following the outdoor bat trail from Tinkley Gate Bookshop.

Perfect for little legs, the trail will take you through the mown paths from Tinkley Gate Bookshop and back again to learn about the different bats we have at Woodchester Park.

What to bring and wear

Dress for the weather. Wellies or walking boots are recommended for the grassy ground.

Accessibility

The paths are mostly flat but often bumpy and grassy. There are walking poles available to borrow in the Bookshop. The trail is quite short and stays on the top of the valley. There is an off-road mobility scooter, the tramper, available to book in advance.

It is a self-led trail so no need to book.
