We’ve a packed schedule of events across the house and garden:
- Step inside the house during the Celebration of Flowers to discover locally grown flowers arranged in seasonal floral displays by our volunteers.
- Take a look at Lavinia Dutton’s sketchbook. Her floral artwork is joyful, and you’ll note this sketchbook is singed at the edges of its cover as it was an item rescued from the fire of 1960! The dining table is set with Blanche Dutton’s floral Coalport dinner service.
- Young visitors may like to collect a specially created floral themed spotter’s book. Take the book with you as you explore the house and see if you can spy botanical decorations around the house. You’ll need to look high and low and watch where you go!
- Readers of Gardener’s World magazine can claim 2 for 1 admission to the gardens at Hinton Ampner, or 50% off admission.
