Step into a world of art and adventure in this captivating exhibition, featuring over 80 original artworks by three extraordinary Victorian watercolourists, Albert Goodwin, Hercules Brabazon Brabazon and Walter Tyndale who were also passionate explorers. Through their framed paintings and personal items like Walter Tyndale’s diary and scrapbook, you'll journey alongside these artists as they bring distant landscapes to life.

Meeting point

The art gallery is situated on the top floor of the house - accessed via stairs only.

Accessibility

The gallery is on the second floor. For those unable to use the stairs, a digital version of the exhibition is available on lower levels. Ramped entrance to visitor reception/house. Volunteer-driven mobility buggy service and access facilities available across the site.
