Set out on an invigorating, garment-billowing country walk from The Vyne to the neighbouring village of Sherborne St John and connect with a rural landscape familiar to Jane. Our apologies, but on this venture, you won’t encounter Mr Darcy in his wet shirt emerging from The Vyne’s lake!

You'll need to dress for the weather, bring wellies except during the height of summer and please keep any four-legged friends on a lead.

The route involves bumpy country paths with tree roots crossing the path in places.

During summer opening, the gates between The Vyne’s gardens and Morgaston Woods are locked at 4.30pm. You’ll need to make sure you’re back in the gardens before this time.
