A Riverside Christmas 

Step into this beautiful historic mill, brimming with the delights of Christmas. You'll find richly decorated trees with silvers and blues reflecting the river which runs below. Green garlands, shiny baubles and stack of presents will bring alll the festive feelings. See if you can spot some familiar friends between the branches. 

Festive treats in the café 

Don't forget to visit our cosy café for a winter warmer. Tucked away in the historic Mill, our café is the perfect place to have a break from Christmas hustle and bustle. Enjoy a tasty lunch, from warming seasonal soups to tasty, chees filled toasties. Fancy a treat? Our fresh cakes change regularly so there is always something new to try. Our spiced cake with toffee sauce can't be missed! A warming drink is also a must - savour one of our luxurious hot chocolates - topped with marshmallows and cream.

From classic volumes and colourful children’s tales to modern fiction and vintage treasures, discover something new (to you) to keep or to give as a Christmas present to friends or family, at Winchester City Mill’s pre-loved bookshop. 

Christmas wreath making workshops

Join us in the beautifully decorated City Mill for this unique wreath making workshop, where you can create your very own wreath to take home this Christmas!

Make your base using willow and greenery and then decorate it using a fabulous array of pine cones, seed heads, berries, teasels and ribbons to produce a unique design and style.
