Chartwell Winter Guided Walks
Wrap up warm and join a fascinating guided walk around the Chartwell estate with our Head Ranger.
- Booking essential
Our Head Ranger will guide participants on a 2-hour loop walk around the Estate at Chartwell.
Learn about the flora and fauna of the area. Find out more about the conservation work that rangers do at Chartwell and in the West Kent Countryside.
Subject to interest on the day, and following a short break, there will be an option to extend the walk for a further hour to follow the Mariners Hill loop trail.
Please note that the woodland paths are uneven, narrow in places and include steep inclines so a certain level of fitness is required for the walk.
The paths may be muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear. There are no resting places during the walk, so please bring your own refreshments or purchase something to take away from the café if required.
Booking is essential. Tickets are £8.50 per adult. Children require a ticket but can attend for free. Not suitable for children under 10 years old.
No pets please; assistance dogs permitted.
If you would like to explore the Gardens, Studio, Exhibition or House (closed 26 December until 1 March) after the walk, you will need to purchase an additional ticket at the Visitor Centre or have your National Trust membership card scanned.
