Experience the thrill of history with themed weeks at Ightham Mote.
From 22-24 August, delve into "Plots, Spies and Crowns," featuring reenactments of Elizabeth I and the Spanish Armada, Mary Queen of Scots, and more.
From 29-31 August, explore "Challenges, Uprisings and Battles," including the Prayer Book Rebellion and a thrilling tournament.
Enjoy interactive code and cypher wheels, along with a month-long mystery trail.

All activities will take place on the North Lawn.
- What to bring and wear
These activities will take place outdoor so please wear clothing suitable for changeable weather.
- Accessibility
The garden is steep in places with steps and gravel, cobbles and grass pathways - please speak to staff on arrival for the best route for your needs. Disabled parking is available near visitor reception but there is some gravel in areas of the car park. Pushchairs are permitted in all areas of the garden, but please take care.Take care, there are many open water areas around the garden.
