Book club at Knole
Be a part of the book club here at Knole, where you can explore books and discuss them with others in a place rich with literary history.
- Booking essential
Following its success last year, Knole Book Club is back. Enjoy good company with fellow book lovers and discuss this year's theme of historical fiction along with refreshments.
Book titles and dates for each month are: Thursday 27 February – The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood; Thursday 24 April – The King’s Mother by Annie Garthwaite; Thursday 26 June – The Foundling by Stacey Halls; Thursday 28 August – Godmersham Park by Gill Hornby; Thursday 16 October – Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf; Thursday 18 December – The Mitford Secret by Jessica Fellowes.
The book club will take place in the Hayloft Learning Centre, with drinks and biscuits provided. This is a free event but booking is essential. The first book club date is available to book now. The subsequent dates will then be available to book from the day of the preceding meeting, e.g. book club on 27 April will be available to book from 27 February.
Book club members will receive 20% discount if they buy the chosen titles from the Bookshop at Knole. You will receive information on how to redeem this discount once you have booked your space.
