Celebrate UN International Geodiversity Day by joining Mel Wrigley, our resident ecologist, on a gentle walk around the National Trust land on top of The White Cliffs of Dover. Find and hear about the amazing variety of plants, their folklore and medicinal uses, and the wealth of animals that make the chalk habitats home. The guided walk will not be going too close to the cliff edge.

- What to bring and wear
The walk will take you through rough grassland and we suggest you wear trousers, socks and stout shoes. Weather can change quickly on the cliffs so please dress appropriately.
- Accessibility
The terrain is rough grass with some surfaced or tarmac tracks. Some locations may not be suitable for wheelchairs/mobility scooters. If you have limited mobility, please call the contact number to discuss whether this event is suitable for you.

Further parking information at: https://bit.ly/Planningyourvisit. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles with plenty of stops and will take 2-2.5 hours. Toilet facilities will be available at South Foreland Lighthouse. This is a free event with limited spaces - booking is essential. Please book at the website below and keep your booking confirmation. Parking at the additional parking area is free upon production of proof of booking, otherwise, normal parking charges apply.
