Conservation in Action: Glass & Ceramics

See how vital conservation work happens this Spring – this time, on Sizergh’s collection of glass and ceramics.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Under the veil of UV lighting, over 100 ceramic objects in the Sizergh collection will be carefully inspected for hairline cracks, chips and old repairs. From giant Imari vases to colourful but tiny glass flasks, specialist cleaning methods will be undertaken by the team to have everything sparkling once again.
