Come along and see a deep clean of the Stone Parlour at Sizergh.

This Spring, see conservation taking place in the Stone Parlour at Sizergh, where the House team will be busy cleaning textiles, paintings and furniture.
The famed Sizergh marble will be given special treatment, oak panelling will be dusted, wax applied and buffed around the entire room. Plus, see the only stone floor in the house receive a rare ‘wet clean’.

This conservation work will be taking place in the Stone Parlour.
- Accessibility
Access to the first floor is up 26 steps, each around 15cm high. There are handrails either side of the staircase. Unfortunately, there is no ramp or lift available.
