Conservation in Action: Boynton Bedroom Deep Clean
This August, the House team will be deep cleaning the Boynton Bedroom – come along and see how.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Amongst the treasures of the Boynton bedroom hangs the oldest painting in the house, a magnificent oil on board depicting The Crucifixion, painted in 1574 in Bruges. Water closets hidden behind panelling and secret hidey holes under the stairs, are just some of the other things getting the conservation deep clean treatment.
