Join us for an Easter adventure at Wordsworth House and Garden. See what fun things you can discover inside William and Dorothy's childhood home before completing your trail in the garden and collecting your Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg.

Join us for a spring adventure and make your way along our fun filled Easter trail with activities for the whole family to discover. Explore the childhood home of William and Dorothy Wordsworth with the beautiful garden overlooking the river Derwent and make your own Easter discoveries in the house and garden. Find the 10 activities that are hiding along the way and collect your chocolate egg at the end. This event is aimed at families, but everyone is welcome.

Pick up your activity pack from our welcome desk and discover creative Easter crafts, play at taking tea like the Wordsworth’s, try wild art and enjoy some lively games. When you’re finished, collect your chocolate egg, you can choose from either a chocolate egg or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg. Both eggs are made using Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa.

What to bring and wear

This will be an outdoor hunt in our lovely garden so please dress for the weather.

Other

The trail takes place from Monday 14th of April to Monday 21st of April (except Thurs 17th) 10am to 3pm (please note the house closes at 4pm). Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg. *Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.
