Winter Tree ID Walk

Join National Trust Ranger, David Bevis, for a walk through Gawthorpe’s woodland and learn all about the trees that reside here and how to identify them in winter.

The event will run on Saturday 25th January, 10-12pm.

The first hour will involve an ID workshop where you will learn how to identify the different tree species. The second hour will put this into practice, with a gentle walk around the estate looking at the variety of different species found here at Gawthorpe Hall.

Sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing.

Accessibility

The route will require attendees to navigate a stile and therefore will not be pushchair or wheelchair friendly. The majority of the walk will follow the main paths.
