During November we will be collaborating with Craft Forward, a Brixton based not for profit who run The Knit Club, a workshop structured like a relaxed and welcoming knitting and crochet group. Blankets for London is Craft Forward’s seasonal project where they assemble blankets to donate to people experiencing houselessness in London through their partner charities. In these weekly workshops Craft Forward will share their knitting skills, helping us to produce knitted squares and assemble blankets for this wonderful project. Workshops take place on 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th November, from 10:30 - 12:30.
From December to February, join us for our a collective craft project exploring the question “What makes you feel at home?” This project will be a collaborative effort between local community members, artists, and partner organisations. Workshops will begin 4th December and finish 26th February (no sessions on 25th December and 1st January).
Workshops are aimed at Wandsworth and Lambeth residents to foster social connections and inspire creativity at every age.
