Blossom at Ham House and Garden
We’re celebrating spring blossom at Ham House and Garden with activities and events from 20 March until 23 May.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Follow along on Instagram for #BlossomWatch as nature’s confetti appears on our fruit trees and on young blossom trees in the outer courtyard and Cherry Garden. Early blooms include peach and apricot blossom followed by stepover apples and orchard apples in the Kitchen Garden. This walled garden also has plum blossom and delicate pink cherry blossom.
Inside the house (open 12–4, last entry 3.30):
• 20 March–27 April: Interpretation panels will guide visitors around blossom-themed items from Ham House’s collection
• 10–23 May: Cabinets Unlocked, our twice-yearly display of spectacular cabinets, returns this spring with a blossom spin
Other things to see and do:
• Regular weekday garden tours (subject to volunteer availability) will include blossom highlights
• 20 March–23 May: Kids can have a go at making blossom origami
• Plus, there’ll be poetry and artwork created by local community groups on display 22 April–23 May
Take a seat outside the Orangery Café (10-3.30) to enjoy light refreshments. In our shop, browse blossom-themed books and garden gear to get your space ready for the warmer months.
