National Meadows Day, Sat 5 July
Join us on Saturday 5 July in celebration of our magnificent meadows and have a go at using sweep nets to see the creatures found in the meadow up close. Free, drop in.

Over the spring we've been letting the grass grow to create a wildlife habitat and increase biodiversity. By the end of June, our meadow will be bursting with wildflowers and mini-beasts. National Meadows Day is the perfect opportunity to come and explore and find out more about this pollinator-rich environment.
Drop in any time between 11am and 3pm.

Long trousers are recommended when entering the meadow.

The activity takes place on flat ground and accessed via surfaced paths, but will be near unfenced open water in the dark.

Our Park Explorers group is for children aged 2-5 years old and their parents/carers. Together we learn about the natural world around us, with a different outdoor theme each week.
