In the House, look at the 'Secrets from the Stores' – items from the collections that have never been on display before, including a hoard of doll pieces, ceramic flowers and a key to a missing door. Be inspired by the stories of these interesting objects!
Outside in the gardens, collect an Early Spring Explorer sheet and see how many of the seven robins you can find on your way to the winter garden. Soak up the season looking out for bright yellow daffodils, winter-flowering hellebores and scented shrubs.
Head further afield and adventure across the estate on two wheels. Cycle hire is open at weekends with a with a range of bikes available for all the family. If walking is more your thing, pick up a map at Visitor Welcome and let the kids lead the way as you navigate through the parkland, looking out for signs and sounds of the season.
