Bat Walk

Join a guided bat walk and discover the British bats that call Oxburgh home.

  • Booking essential

Dusk is the perfect time to see these amazing acrobatic mammals as they head out to hunt for insects, and what better place to spot them than in the beautiful grounds of Oxburgh Estate.

The evening includes an informative presentation from knowledgeable Ecologist, Phil Parker, followed by a peaceful walk through Oxburgh’s garden as you keep an eye out for species such as Common Pipistrelle, Soprano Pipistrelle and Brown Long Eared. With the help from a bat detector, listen out for the distinctive squeaks as they fly and dart through the air to catch their dinner.
