Recent archaeological investigations have revealed evidence of Roman and Medieval settlements within what is now Oxburgh Estate. Our archaeology volunteers will take you on a guided walk of Oxburgh’s parkland as you delve into the past and discover the secrets hiding beneath your feet.

Please check in with Visitor Welcome before meeting your guide by the Shepherd's Hut.
- What to bring and wear
These walks will take place outdoors and cover uneven ground. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day.
- Accessibility
The route covers uneven ground and paths which will be unsuitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and those who find walking difficult. Please note the walk will take around an hour and a half with plenty of stops.
- Other
These guided walks are free, normal admission applies for non-members. Donations are welcomed and appreciated to help us continue our essential work to care for Oxburgh’s Parkland.
