St George's Guildhall is one of the UK's oldest working theatres. It is owned by the National Trust and leased to King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council, who manage and maintain the site. Today you can visit the theatre and soak up its heritage, enjoy art exhibitions and performances, or take part in the theatre's varied learning programme. We're currently working with the Council, feeding into discussions about their plans to breathe new life into this much-loved landmark. The Guildhall is managed by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk and is now being run as a venue for hire, supporting a year-round programme of theatre, dance, music, lectures and film. Individuals or groups wishing to hire the venue can contact the Corn Exchange Manager on 01553 765565.
A multi-million pound project is currently underway and planning permission has been granted to restore this Grade I listed building and its surroundings, to enhance the site's historic significance and ensure it has a long-term sustainable future.
