Bring the kids to the Farne Islands for a day of adventure like no other. Salty sea air, a boat trip, seals, dolphins, thousands of seabirds. And of course, puffins!

Arctic terns

Arctic terns will divebomb to protect their nests. If you're visiting May - July, remember to bring a soft hat, and keep walking slowly and calmly through the colony if a tern is making a "clicking" sound above your head.
